Spell Champion is an iPhone app for kids 6–14 getting ready for classroom and school spelling bees.
How a word goes
- Listen. The coach says the word. Your child can ask for the definition, a sentence, the part of speech or where the word comes from, just like in a real bee.
- Say it, spell it, say it again. Out loud, letter by letter. No tapping, no typing.
- Hear how it went. Right: on to the next word. Not quite: the coach shows the correct spelling and the tricky part, and the word comes back later for practice.
Ten words a round, with levels that grow with your child.
It checks every letter
Plain code checks the spelling, not AI. If the app isn't sure what it heard, it asks your child to say it again instead of guessing.
